Does anyone have an idea on how to set this 3x3x6 up?

Got this off fb market so don't know the brand and cannot for the life of me figure this box out lmao. I'm in need of moving one of my girls to more space due to light conditions if anyone has an idea it'd be great TIA growmiesIMG_3162.jpegIMG_3163.jpegIMG_3164.jpeg

Is the first picture not a 3x3 square? A symmetrical tent shouldn't be too hard. Can you show us what happens when you build the first picture out into a 6 foot tall box? The pieces with the hooked ends are for later when hanging things.

Well that's the thing I can't finish building it out because it starts lean like it's too heavy somewhere. It seems like the piece that is shown in the last pic is supposed to be placed elsewhere.

It is gonna lean until you support all the sides, can you not connect the piece that's leaning to the connection that it's near?

The small pieces you are using on the bottom there are to lengthen the height, probably. Not the 3x3 part.

When I try to connect the part that it's leaning towards there's a lot of pressure basically forcing it in. And that's was my next step was to switch the small pieces out for the height. The only thing is that wouldn't the 3x3 part be to small for the tent if I take the extensions (small pieces) out?

Did you measure it? I can't really tell the difference between 3 and 4 feet in a picture :]

I've never seen a 3x3 or 4x4 with those 4 way connectors.
They look like they would be for a 3x6

Normally you have 4x 3way (corners) the black bit on facing bottom or top.

You slide a pole into each piece to make your base snd ceiling.

Then you have a pole which is male - male going up to half way and a pole which sits on top , which is female - male. The female sits over the male at half way height and the male end goes into the corner piece of the ceiling.


So I'm confused about the 4 way connectors.

My starting point would be to lay out the skin (fabric) , figure out which is the base and get a tape measure and measure each bottom dimension, make sure its tight.

Then get your corners (3 way) , measure tip to female , and work out which of your poles make up the length you need once added to the corners.

There should be 8 identical poles for your bottom and top combined.

Then look at what you've got left.

Do any of the poles have female ends???

Edit..

Assemble bottom square. Then Assemble top square .
Then figure out which are your uprights

I think that's my biggest confusion. There's no poles that have female ends at all. I set up my 2x2 & 2x4 with no problem. Like you mentioned, I've never seen those 4 point connectors before

It might be that tent has extra poles tivstop sidewalls sucking in, just not something I've seen in my neck of the woods. As Rsawr said, those small pieces could be extenders. If its that type of tent.

Well that piece is only that length because of an extension that's about 1.5 long but there's only 2 of them.

Because you wouldn't want a cross bar across your door. So that might be what they are
My logic there probably doesn't stack up thinking about it, I mean you wouldnt want a bar across the door, but by substituting one side for the single connectors, you'd remove 3 Cross bars .. if you get me.

Sort your 8 identical bars out
Put a corner on each end of one and if it doesn't equal the length of your hanging bar then those are not base or ceiling poles
