Does a true sealed room smell a lot?

Just trying to understand what to expect with my sealed room. The room is 20 long 10 wide 8 high with everything you could think of.

framed in and insulated with 2x4s, 7/16 osb on the inside and sheet rock on the outside also a plastic vapor barrier was applied before i put up the osb. Then i put panda paper on over the osb.
8- 8" magnum hoods
4 tables
3 ton excel central heat and air unit a split system so everything is inside the room with just two lines hooking up the the outside unit.
C02 generator hooked to the gas line
1020 can filter with a 8" fan on it on 24/7 exchanges the air every 2 min

Also plan to get a large ozone generator for outside the room to preven the smell from taking over but i'm hoping most of the smell will just stay in the room.

So has anyone had any experience with a true sealed room or been to one? I'm sure the smell will leak out some but do you think with the ozone generator i can win the battle?

sounds like no smell should come out, but you still need exuast, which a carbon filter would fix

there is no exhaust in a true sealed room but i do have a carbon filter filtering the air every 2 min

isnt 1020 can filter a really good carbon filter ? sounds like you know what you are doing ,... what are you worry about!!? it will smell when you open the door a room that size ! hehe keep the door close

you need an exhaust ... your plant need fresh air... so if fresh air comes in, air has got to go out, especially in a sealed room otherwise backpressure will occure

oh you got the c02 and all that crap ... perhaps I didnt know you could grow weed in a fully sealed room...

ya thats the whole idea with a sealed room no fresh air plants only need c02 as they produce oxygen. I've done other sealed rooms but they were half ass because i had to use window ac's and trust me those throw the smell right out! Thanks for everyones input so far keep it coming.

a true sealed room will not smell at all. thats what makes it a true sealed room. circular ventilation.

i assume you just want to seal the room though. you'd be surprised how well you can smell proof a large room if you put your mind to it. its tricky, especially with doors and windows but weather lining and visqueen plastic do wonders.

so why do you have the carbon filter then? I would think that the smell is going to be in the room no matter what, the fact that it is well sealed will make it odourless from other rooms or the outside. I fully sealed my room because last year it was ants city in my basement ... but I dont have any c02 generator and I always thought plants need fresh air.

ya basically the carbon filter filters the air so that when i open the door lets say ... the smell is not as bad, then the ozone generator would mask that smell....at least thats what i'm hopeing.

Ozone generators are amazing. I'm quite glad to have one ... with it you can wipe the room's "paint memory". cn

Ozone damage

Ozone damage typically found near the generator. Although a rare problem, symptoms generally appear as a Mg deficiency, but the symptoms are localized to immediately around the generator.

my generator is outside the grow room, so this is way less likely

I'm not sure what to make of this. I'm hoping you're totally baked, LOL.

I've had two ozone generators and they were amazing. Mine were just tiny little things, about the size of a softball but they killed the smell in my cabinet (2' x 6' x 6'). I said "they" but I only used one at the time. You will be fine with your setup.
