Does a plant grow really fast in pre-flower stage?

I just had an idea, but I bet there's a flaw or I would have read about it already.

The idea:

Put a plant into 12/12 for 2 weeks, it starts to grow really fast...

Switch the plant back to veg...

-Will this increase size faster than just regular vegging?

thats right around the time that your plant would become hermie from stress, seems like its not worth the trouble to me

i don't suggest it, i ran my lights 18-6 for teh entire veg, then swiched them to 12-12 to find out sex, and switched back to 18-6, changing an hour every couple nights, to slowly extend the time, and i ended up with a hermie cause of it. so my suggestion is no.

I would not put a plant under any undue stress dude it is not worth it,if the plant is been grown under the right lights then it will be up to flowering size before you know it any how.........................tyke............................................................................................
