anyone who lifts weights and uses supplements I have a question:

I've been using black powder, a pre-workout formula. I'm actually drinking it now and it tastes like fucking...balls or something idk really bad. I doubt anybody will have a plausible reply to this thread but if you know any good tasting supplements I can replace black powder with, let me know.

It depends what it is? Is it protien powder or weight gainer? I take lots of supps and workout a lot. Hit me up with a PM the name of the stuff and ill give you a better tasting supp....

Yeah dude, is ir for protein or is it more like weight gainers? GNC has good protein powders. chocolate.. vanilla.. Cookies and cream.
Also there are weight gainers that are like chocolate.

I'm looking for something to pump me up before I go to the gym, but I don't care if I'm sore after wards. I want pumps, I want focus, I want to be more agile, etc. what do you guy's use? in general. black powder is the only supplement I've ever tried..

Nitric oxide, creatine, and glutamine.. All of those mixes have a name that starts with NO_X_CG or something similar...
The NO is fucking magic, with creatine for MASSIVE pumps... Try prosource.net or your local vitamin store... NOT GNC! :blsmoke:

I work for a company that certifies personal trainers. We are nationally and international recognized and are currently ranked number 3 in the country.


I know that my boss 'Mr. Olympia' doesn't recommend anything other than creatine, glutamine, and a multi-mineral vitamin for support of muscle gain/repair.

Of course he says within an hour of your workout eat something with protein, and within an hour after do the same.z

thanks I'll probably try that gainer and look for more NO products. Idk about creatine, I know a kid who used it and look's like he's full of water.

cus thats what it does. Just lift. Monitor your diet better than your plants and youll be fine. I lift 7 days a week, but only for 20-30 daily.

I have a work out plan - I want muscle tone, not bulk or whatever. I have exercises planned out and work out days. I just want to look muscular, I can't gain much weight. I am also a boxer and take other classes, so I burn almost 400 calories every practice, every day. plus working out..idk what's up with my body but I'm not seeing results. the results I want = muscle tone to look muscular. that's it

I work out my brain, but that probably doesn't count.

My husband is a former body builder and personal trainer, and my mother is a registered dietitian. Amino acids are da bomb.

My regimen? When I get stressed I pop these Marge Simpson-huge cold sores, my lips just explode. Lysine, 1000mgs 2x/day (they're usually found as 500mg tablets). It works BETTER than Valtrex, and it doesn't kill your liver. I love my liver. I'm a liver lover. :hump:

You can try Muscle-Milk,they have a lot of different flavors and it taste great.Unlike regular protein shake,you can drink it as many times as you want,I use to take it up to 4-5 times a day no problemes.:blsmoke:

I wouldn't ever recommend lifting 7 days a week.

I also have l-lysine :)

Ive been good, been busy as well. Trying to get my shit together and I am desperately running out of money :(

Also trying to figure out what to do for the upcoming school year. I'm thinking I may take a year off, or just take something pretty easy. We shall see, but its definitley getting down to the nitty gritty.

how are your plants going? I assume they are great! :hump::blsmoke:

Oh my... well, there has been a growing "saga". Killed over half my first two phases, between nutrient burn and the heat, them being in black pots and me not figuring it out... :roll: And now I'm having some weird issues with my good strains, but I'm taking things slowly, going all-organic with those babies, and I have good help. If only they all agreed on what the problem is! I discovered we have another (lady) rider among our ranks, misshestermoffit, she rides an HD as well (well, when it's running, but you didn't hear that from Honda woman!).

I really want to start body building but I just dont have the time. But youll still see me at the gym every weekday. Im currently running a three day split and take protein, and a multivitamin. Just got off of a bulking stage, and starting my cutting tommorrow. Bleh I hate cutting.....
