Do you think humanity would be better or worse without religion?

Life would be so much better if there was more religion in this world, as an example look at the olden days, there was less violence than today, due to religion at home, today people have no morals, no code to live by.

you are out of your mind if you think religion ever stopped anyone from doing anything.

The real deterrent is the science behind "CSI"

It would better if the whole world shared the same religion
by a one world government mandate.
That would end lots of battles
plus we would all know the songs.

Pagan religions made things very bad and horrible (aztec,viking) but the so-called Abrahamic religions improved quality of life.

Examples, arabia was just waring gangs and families before Islam. I know it's bad now but it was way worse.
Germany was multiple tribes like the Vandals, which gave birth to the word Vandalism because of how they left cities after robbing them. That way of life stopped in germany when Christianity was introduced.
When the Soviet Union removed religion by force, quality of life dropped by a lot.

I feel much of today's society, gave up on their dreams because of religion.

Look at war all over, people in third world countries dying in the street

while theirs kids cry all because they wore a cross necklace. A symbol of their own faith.

Same goes for ANYBODY's RELIGION, they wear symbols that identify who they are

but, "who are they, truly?" Surely can not all be the same, but that's how we see it.

We've all grown up to believe, THIS IS HOW YOU HAVE TO LIVE, that's it. Period.

Why can't we just know and decide for ourselves how to live?

News to the world: YOU DON'T NEED SOMEONE ELSE TO TELL YOU HOW TO LIVE YOUR LIFE. YOU CAN DECIDE FOR YOURSELF

I think if people lived by the principles of it we would be better off. I have a hard time about the GOD thang. I would like to believe but science keeps me skeptical. I kind of thing it is a man made deal to help keep people in line.
