Do seeds create higher risk of bid rot starting?

I have one plant that has many seeds.
I see that the some seed coverings are turning brown and seeds are dropping.
Will the dry seed coverings lead to bud rot?

Will it be better to harvest early and not risk bud rot?

Some seeds that fell after tapping buds above a bowl.
