Do Molasses help?

I've read it can sweeten the buds, but i've also read that is a myth. In my experience it didnt help sweeten the buds up, but it did add quite a bit of bulk to them.. i'd say it def helps feed the beneficial microbes! (I used it last two weeks of flush) Def. worth experimenting with. Oh and make sure its "unsulphured" based on what I have read. Good luck!

I helps the soil and the roots to get the nutes. I will be using it when I start brewing tea.

Does anyone have any articles that proves any of this? I'm wondering the same thing but would like solid evidence right now without adding my harvests have been fine so I'm not really concerned but if it does actually add to things I'll use it haha.

It won't "sweeten" your buds. That's just hopeless wishful thinking. The volatiles that give a "sweet" aroma and taste to cannabis are not sucrose related. Hence why sugar doesn't smell "sweet". There are a combination of terpenes and other volatiles that when combined with the human palate produce an effect we describe as "sweet", but dumping sugar water on your plants won't help with that.
Molasses is good for soil microbes, but also invites insects. It's worth giving it a shot for the last month as it's only ~3 bucks and you're unlikely (or unlucky) to get an infestation started now. That is unless there are bugs already there.
