My two ladys are in three gallon pots and have been through there three month veg period and are still in them being five days into 12/12 the roots are peaking out the the drainage holes so i pulled them both out and utilized the top pot space that had no soil by putting a few cups of soil at the bottom now two days latter the roots are all ready growing out the holes... Is this normal? Do these plants look too bushy for there three gallon pots or should i just stop worrying? View attachment 1929745View attachment 1929746View attachment 1929747

they look very healthy to me... "If I felt my plant would be root bound before harvest day, I would personally transplant into bigger pot earlier than later" just my 2 cents:hump::peace:

if its root bound you can just check, just pul the root ball out gently and see if the smallest roots are really fat , and if your root ball is full , but ya a bigger pot is never bad
