Do I have to cure for iso-hash?

I just harvested 3 days ago and the plant is still a bit wet. Do i have to wait until it's completely dry before I can begin the iso-hash process?

I would dry it first, makes it easier to work with and the extraction will work better.
But it is possible to do it without drying.

Okay I will dry it. But how do I know when it's ready, or dried?

I usually check on my bud by pressing the stem and snapping it a bit, it should not snap over completely like a twig but it shouldn't be "moist" and plant like either, it should be rigid and firm, and lose about 70-80% of it's weight (the bud that is).
