Do I have an issue or genetics?

Here’s two different strains( don’t know for sure what they are), same age, same medium, same time going 12/12, same feeding, but they are looking totally opposite. What's your opinions on health or problems. First 3 are the same plant and last pic is the other.

1st plant looks to be over fed to me and may be causing a little lockout. Flush medium and feed at reduced strength and monitor plant.

Lighter plant looks to me that it’s not getting fed enough, increase feed ppm.
doesn’t look like an Fe deficiency to me as it’s happening to the whole plant, not just the new growth.

Soil is FFOF. Feeding ph 6.5-6.7 with 1200ppm and runoff is around 5.8 ph
With your ph going in at 6.5 and comming out at 5.8 I would bet your ph in the soil is pretty low. The low ph is going to cause lock out issues which will in turn cause random nutrient problems. You may not have been over feeding by much but over time it adds up. Any idea what your ppm comes out at? Or do a slurry test to get more accurate results.
Also I use to grow in a mix of ffof and happy frog. When I fed I always was around a 1/4 strength per week and never fed for the first 2 or 3 weeks after an up pot.
Anyway if it were me I would do a slurry test and see where my numbers were then go from there otherwise it's just a guess.

I love my bluelap leap probe!
My soil pH is wayyy out of wack! Glad to be switching over to coco indoors, the soil will be outside now. The soil pH pens also work in liquid solutions

I'm thinking of doing the same thing. Being able to adjust the medium ph easily sounds kinda nice!

Yeah I found out that happy frog soil ph starts to get really low and is impossible to correct with ph up. Now I'm doing coco indoors and the ph is perfect . Soil will be outside only now, and use up the rest of my old bottles soil nutes out there

I have the same issues with Sunshine mix. Ph just drops after all the lime is used up. Not sure what your water source is but I switched over to a 50/50 mix of ro and tap. Im thinking the combo will lengthen the buffering ability. Seems to be working good so far just hit day 100 in veg and ph is still stable at 6.3. Oh yeah and I really try not to over feed.

after trying a slurry vs my ph pen I would say the slurry/runoff methods are very inaccurate. It was totally worth it
