Do exhaust fans get clogged?

I'm going to be using a bathroom exhaust fan, somewhere between 80 and 110 CFM. I'm wondering if I need to worry about it getting clogged with resin, broken dried bits of leaf, or anything like that?

what about little bits of leaf in the air or anything like that? Sorry if this is a stupid question, just want to have my bases covered before I destroy a $100 fan.

not a bad question at all, i think you're safe from resin
you really can't rule it out, mj leaf stems are tough, depends just how fast the air column is, a screen over the side of the fan that faces the plants should guard against that if you feel it is a concern

i think you mainly have to worry about dust. if you keep your room clean. keep dogs/cats out you should be fine. just make sure to clean the fan blades or centrifuge after each grow. try not to clean during a grow as this will spread dust around. it you have to clean it during a grow, use a high power shop vac, try to make sure the shop vac is not in the room while using it. this will be hard unless you are doing a small closet style grow.

If you install the grill that comes with the vent fan, you can cover the outside with a single dryer sheet. It cuts down on smell and filters some of the dust that normally collects on your fan blades.
