Do ENzymes work with sythetic nutes?

Just want to know if I'm using pond enzyme will it help break up synthetic nutes. Some say yes and same say no. Please help. Will enzymes work well in coco?

Good synthetic nutes are already all broken up into their constituent ions. The best use I could think for such an enzyme is to combat root pathogens. cn

That's because the answer is yes...and no. Enzymes and other micro life work great and are a huge part of how plants uptake nutrients in the natural world. Synthetic nutrients are all salt based so these salts will build up in your soil. Some worse than others.

These salts will kill all of your micro flora and fauna. It takes time, but it will happen. So I guess the best I can tell you is that they will work - until you kill them.

Synthetic nutrients are salts. The best solvent for breaking up salts is the good old' universal solvent: WATER.

On another note... You're in the organics forum. Why not go ahead and round file those synthetic nutrients?
