Do carbon filters work for harvest smell?

I just harvested and this shit smells strong outside. I have a filter in my flower room and works great for that but was trimming and walked outside and I can smell it by the room I was trimming. If I put a filter in my trimming room would that eliminate the smell outside? The filter is working in my flower room because power went out for about a hour and stunk up the house but when the power came back on the smell was gone and plus it doesn't vent out. Any help would be great thanks.

Yes, a carbon filter would help, you could setup a fan in the window pulling air thru a filter then outside, or a stand alone filter connected to a fan that pulls air from the filter and would not need to go outside, and there is always a drying box with carbon filter and fan.

You SHOULD have your scrubber in your trimming/drying area. Or at least a scrubber. You can rig one up easily if you still have flowering girls that you need your scrubber for.
Get a box fan.
A section of fine screen (home depot or hardware store)
A box of carbon from a pet store or walmart or something.
Cut your screen in a square that'll cover one side of the fan + 2-3 inches. Place the fan between 2 chairs so it's blowing down on the ground. Pull off the fan cover. Place screen where fan cover was. Put fan cover back on. Pour carbon on it and make about a half inch layer. Turn fan on low. The fan sucks air through the carbon and kills the smell and blows clean air onto the floor.
It works in a pinch and will kill the harvest smell.
