Do air kits block uv light

hi everyone, like it says.

I am looking to put two hydrofarm phantom cmh 315s in a 5x5 .. i was going to run the air kits to vent outside but my local shop advised the glass will hurt the par and possibly block the uv light. I have emailed hydrofarm with no answer.

Anyone able to chime in on this?
