Actually, I think it's bad because I believe you should get the hermi out of the same area as your female plants. If this means chopping it, so be it.
However, I have heard of people picking the male parts off, then spraying with reverse. You will need to keep an eye on the plant from this point on, and you could always miss something and your other females could very easily get seeded.
Also, if it hermied, there may be an environmental cause that needs to be corrected, ie. light leak, temperature change, etc.
