DIY Geothermal Cooling for a 10x10 room with 4 600W HPS

I live in an area with very sandy soil.
I have a sandpoint well setup in my basement which I use to water the garden and lawn through the year.
The water is always nice and cold. And FREE!

Can anybody provide some guidance on how I can use this to setup a DIY Geothermal AC for my grow room?

Most basic answer I can give as you would have to design the overall setup and mounts... consider running cold water through a vehicle radiator type object with a fan blowing through the coils instead of sucking. That would cool down some air but depending on your environment and temps without, no one can say if it would even be worth it without first making a prototype and testing different coil sizes, pump speeds, fan speeds, etc.

Most geothermal is hot water that is simply looped and returns the water from whence it came once its heat is surrendered. What you are thinking of is a heat pump. Read up on heat pumps. Your well just might get much more useful.

i think u want a swamp water cooler. Uses shitty water and cools your room with it, very simple. I saw one made with legos a tote and a radiator w/ a pump.

Yeah they are also called extreme humidifiers. Not dehumidifier but a humidifier. Desert dwellers MIGHT get some relief with one. If you have any humidity where you live forget that idea.

OK so it sounds feasible to use that water source to provide a cheap way dropping my ambient temperature a few degrees? Expanding my flower room to 10x10 with up to 4 600W HPS. Adding one light at a time as funds allow and I will eventually put together enough funds to switch to CGE. Looking for an alternative to mini split AC.

Thanks but I was interested in dropping ambient room temps. Maybe one day in the future though.

Don't want to add humidity.

I will look a little more into the heat pump idea.

if you dont mind me asking, why are you looking to replace the mini split? i have a 10 x 10 room split down the middle and halved for veg and flower sides. i run a portable on either side and DAMMMNNN let me tell you the electric bill reflected. had to turn those babys off and say if it gets too hot, oh well. is a mini split still costing an arm and a leg to cool that area down?

not trying to replace mini split. I am trying to find a cheaper alternative than buying one. I have a friend i can ask. but he doesn't smoke or grow.
