B bam bam Active Member Jun 6, 2009 #1 Iam hanging my bulb horizontally, with out a reflector. How close can I have my bulb to the ceiling of my closet grow? 2 inches, will that be too close to the ceiling? The ceiling will have either be covered in mylar or flat white paint.

B bam bam Active Member Jun 6, 2009 #2 Iam guessing you can have it pretty close to the ceiling, because in a DIY coolt, the tube is only 5 inches in diameter, and a lot of people put Fat MH bulbs inside it.
