would disturbing the plants once for maybe about 30 seconds every dark cycle be okay?

It may increase your risks of hermied plants and might make your buds smaller.. much like having a small light leak will do....but other than that... LOL.

you can get a green light bulb, that way you can take a peek and not disturb them...
