I had a disaster strike late last night. I'm glad I was in there when It happen or it would have been a lost cause. I have strings and pipe cleaners all over to hold branches up and some how a main support came loose and by the time all said a done the hole thing was bent over 95% of the branches were laying on the groud20211201_004031.jpg20211201_005548.jpg20211201_005619.jpg

I built a simple frame for trellis netting stapled to furring strips and drywall screws to assemble.
Using some method to support the colas(cage, netting, or yo-yo's) is what I've tried to incorporate into all of my grows.

Another suggestion for hydro would be to add some silica to the mix to promote stiff stems.

i use a length of electric cable and strip it of its main plastic cover and use the single plastic coated wires cut into lengths to tie up branches. may be better then pipe cleaners

I'm hoping it's OK for the last couple weeks. Had to use lots of duct tape cause so many broke. Only a couple bad breaks but lots of super crop type of breaks

Plant Velcro is your friend; extremely strong, versatile and reusable. I use it to lasso the whole plant at a couple of different levels and then secure those to tent poles or where ever you need the support. Highly recommended.

My problem is I always procrastinate putting it on, hoping that this time it will be fine. The buds eventually end up on the floor and I have to crawl in there and try and wrap them up all sticky. I just had to do that with my current garden and will post a pic later when they wake up.

I have a net that I made a couple cycles ago just didn't use it because it makes it hard to get into rez but now that I'm rdwc I should have used it but didn't like an idiot. I am in a temp set up atm also

I tie a string from corner to corner of my tent (I realize op is not in a tent) making an "X", not only catching the big ones if they fall but also good to super crop over and something to tie to as well.

I've got tiny eyehooks in my closet that I've ran twine through to hold yoyo's. They can also hang off the light hangers. I've got a bunch, so I soak them in ISO after each round for awhile. I'm on my Surface now so I don't have the pics of the twine shit. That's on another device, but here's an old one that shows the yoyo's a little. I think it's the easiest method. Each time another branch sags over I just grab another yoyo.

I only need them closer to the end, but they can also be useful to support branches you fucked up.
