Dirt poor clone tips cut my 3ft plant in half

Looking for wide variety of ideas and experiences on how to make my shit ass setup work heres pics bash me with constructive criticism trying to clone in water under 600 watt light, temps stay about 73 rh, about 40-50 plan on making a humidity dome right now

I use a 60 site cloner under a 15 watt led that i cut the shield off of

cut a banana into 2" pieces and poke ahole for hr cyutting to go into and wait for roots
cut up a leaf of alo vera and poke a hole into the cut side and put a cutting into it untill it roots

Damn I like the banana idea I dont think I have one though lemme run to the gas station right now I have like 6 potential clones dipped in water

you will do best with a cheap led light for the cuttings and leave it on 24/7, plane tap water will work on its own, but you will find the banana works quite well for cuttings
what light hours are you leaving the light on for?

probably right it has veg and bloom switch so its definetly not putting out 600 right now

18/6 is good for clones, whats your growing space.
that light, look at the sticker on the top of it or the specs sheet it came with, it should give the power consumption on it, that will tell you how many watts are being used by the light, the sellers of these lights are crafty, they claim 600 watts, but the actual power consumption is much less.
people are getting pulled in with these 50.000 watt lights, when thats the total lumin output not power used.

with the banana and water cuttings, try half n half just in case the water works quicker.
years ago, my girlfriend at the time taught me a lesson with plane water, i had a northan lights plant and was trying all these methods of taking cuttings and with not much sucsess,
she came and cut a bunch of growing tips and just put them in a glass of water and stuck them on a window sill with no direct sunlight on it and they all took.

but i love new methods of taking cuttings and came across the banana method. the alo vera works well too, but the leaves need to be big n thick for it to work. luckaly im a wizz at growing alo vera and have about 500 of them, so no shortage of them around when i need them.

Also my grow space is about 2x3x5 in my closet

I never tried a nanner myself, But I had good luck with honey. I'd make sure you replace the water at least every other day so it doesn't go stagnant , I'd also err on the side of caution with that 260 watt light, I use a cheap walmart led screw in led light that uses 9 watts and comes in a 4 pk for like 5 bucks and have great success with it. ( for future reference) Take clones from the lower side of the mother plant as the hormones more conducive to root creation are more concentrated in the lower branches away from the top. You can take clones from anywhere in the plant but my experience has shown longer times between cutting and roots with clones taken from the top of the mother plant .

im not there yet, my black domina aint big enough for cuts to be taken yet. but as soon as i do ill post.
i have used it on another grow with great success, both methods.

I left clone cuttings in water until I was able to get a little setup going all I used was some of that plastic wrap used to protect floors from paint gettin on it and some copper wire to make a little humidity dome. Heres a pic under the dome I'll keep you guys posted on the roots for sure. This is gonna be my dirt cheap method to start out with but i agree let's keep this thread going. Only thing I went to the store for was a banana got 4 clones in water and 3 in bananas in dirt. Cant wait to see how they turn out.

I should've tried honey with one of the bananas, anyone have an idea on how the honey helps?

Update: Gonna use dawn soap washed milk jugs as humidity domes for my first clone grow
