dired, smells like lawngrass

o.k. so I dried a stem from one of my 8 week old plants (I don't know what kind of weed it is, but it def got me stoned lol), and it tasted like I was smoking grass. smells like it too. I just wanted to try it to see, but I put it in a glass jar for a couple of days and it still smells very much like lawn cuttings...gross. what's the problem? could it be that I didn't flush? Or that I just need to dry/cure longer?

current studies show that ALL thc in cannabis is produced in the trichnomes, none in the leaves or stems. so, unless your flowering and some trics fell onto the stem, it shouldn't get you high.

I meant I dried one stem full of buds...before manicuring.

Yeah, you either did not flush long enough before harvest or you need to let it cure longer.
