Direct sunlight needed?

I'm planning on having an outdoor grow this summer. I live in ontario. The spot I'm thinking about would be in mild forest. Would whatever gets through treetops/indirect light be enough (I know it will greatly reduce yield), or should I not even bother?

Thanks,

Chris

There are some threads on the site that talk about this.. some guy planted some seeds in a dense forest and the seedlings never got enough light to become anything...

I think you can look around at the foliage on the ground and see if there is other plant life.... if you see other small plants 1-15 feet.. then it is probably suitable light for an MJ grow..

cheers

look for plants like poison ivy or berries to see if the area is getting enough light and you can see where the best soil is at
