Thinking of getting some new lighting and what not. Does anyone get specifically veg lights vs rspec or whatever. Is there a noticeable difference?

Yes HLG B Spec has more Blue for Veg (Kinda like MH), R Spec has more Red for Flower. I'm a newbie so I can't tell you much more. I'm sure you can just get 35000k for full cycle but I would rather have a dedicated Veg/Flower lights imo.

There for sure is a difference in how light colors effect photosynthesis. I have come to a conclusion that you always want full spectrum. Blue leaning in veg and red leaning in flower.

You can allways buy a flowering light and add a couple of blue strips on a dedicated dimmer. Pretty sure the R-spec would veg fine as well, its based on 4000k white.

true i dont know why i always go back to the idea of a veg light, prooly the in bspec, sounds better than rspec for some reason
