Dinafem Feminized White Widow Journal

Well helllllo! I've started a white widow and she has began to sprout. I started it on my bday, Jan. 4th. She's starting out good and ive never seen anyone train a White Widow so i figured I'd do MY first complete journal on a grow, along with the first journal I can find of an lst'd White Widow! So here we go...

OK, so here goes nothing. I put the seed in a shot glass filled with superthrive/h20 (1 drip of ST to one gallon of h20). Let it sit for 24hrs and when I came back to the shot glasses dark hiding place it had sunk. (SORRY NO PICTURES OF THIS PROCESS)

NEXT, It was onto the damp paper towel (SAME ST/H20 MIX) in my germination "bucket " lol.....



It was then covered with a paper towel and the top was thrown on the bucket. And then put into a warm dark place.



I came back yet again 14 hrs later and had THIS! 48 hours in...



I already had my organic seed starting mix in my starting pot (which is just a butter can or w/e u wanna call it. I like using these because of the great little top that comes with it works PERFECTLY to catch any runoff.) It was then planted into the mix using tweezers....







I then immediately placed it into 20/4 lighting and about 36 hours she was reaching for the sky, I just took this about 10 mins ago... When there is more to be updated u can subscribe and keep track of what is going to be a NICE looking lst'd white widow!! All organic too!!

I love White Widow, its such a fantastic strain, so what setup will you be using? Lights, medium, nutes, ventilation etc?

cant wait to see this, subd in for sure. i have a dinafem WW thats 6 days sprouted.
How big of a final pot will it be in?

Final pot will be a 2 1/2 orbs 3. Due to space issues....

Around 350 TRUE Watts of cfls/t5 in a grow box I built. Organic potting mix, probably FFOF on this one. The three headed monster of FF and the ventilation is super crazy good. She should have a nice stalk on her with the wind she'll take. I LOVE MY PLANT(S)!!

cool.. Im running around the same watts in cfl in mine as well. itll be nice seeing the yield you get from it. HaVE you had the WW from dinafem before? How long of a veg do you oplan on doing?

I plan to veg it until I LST the HELL OUT OF IT! lol. Probably 2-3 months. I LST all of my INDOOR PLANTS! Its amazing every time ... But without further urdo I bring to u .... 6 day old (from seed) white widow, which no I've never grown b4 ....



She got her first "shot" of big bloom yesterday and has perked right up. Still in the same seed starting mix as well.

Cool, thats a long veg time lol.. Im sure it takes that long to get it branched out good tho.. i bet it will be a big producer with that veg time and lst'ing by the time your done with it... wish i had the space to veg and lst one that long.. itd cut into my smoking supply waiting on it tho really.

Yea its hard to keep a decent stash only growing one plant at a time. Even two really! Atleast for me... The timing never hits right, EVER. But yes ur right, the extra long veg turns it into a freaking monster when u LST it! I refuse to top a plant, but I WILL fim one! That shit makes for an INSANE main cola.... More like 7 colas!! Lol.

Anyways, if ur interested in LST'n check out my past fruity loops Kush grow/harvest. Or the one now, the Critical Jack and my dying NL hybrid.

Cool, i will check it out. I think im going to go with the uncle ben 4 cola technique on these chernobyl i have and maybe that widow... hell may as well do the sour ak as well maybe... maybe not, might only do a couple of them and see how it goes first.

Not sure if I know what the uncle Ben is? Maybe I'm just stoned as hell... U should DEF fim a plant, and start LST'n the same plant around the same time. I start out by fan leaves tied down, into the main stalk doin a 360 around thr pot with coals everywhere!

Thanks bro, I will be updating this every couple days... It'll be a helluva grow/journal! I PROMISE! This is going to be a monster, I can see it now! Just have that feeling!

Its where you top it when it gets to 6 nodes down to the 2nd node, and then 4 branches with 4 main colas appear.
I might fim one of them and do that.. not sure which tho. I really want to try it, but gotta get space in there first. How much do you expect to get, or do you get on average doing this?

Thanks bro, she's going to come along nicely.... Ill be posting an Autofem Critical Jack journal as well, its well into growth. .. it'll be like an LST how to lol.

I don't know dude, NEVER have topped a plant but I LST'D my last grow after a fim and ended up with literally 7 different branches/main colas. It was insan but so was that plant haha... And to answer ur question, I have no expectations. Anything could happen, lets just keep our fingers crossed and hope she turns into a MONSTER!! Im just praying for the best! Because, foreal, every plant, strain, grow medium, nuting schedule and whatever (and there's a lot - to factor in) produces a different yield.

From what I can tell if you FIM early on you will get some nice main branches, which IMO is better than topping where you get less, though if you do it later on you may want to Top instead.

Yea it does, thats why i just keep with straight up growth i guess, so i can get more in and have less risk factor of a shitty harvest and running outta smoke.
Im definitely doing the 4 cola topping technique with the chernobyl that i have going since they get monstrous.

Will do, she's coming along nicely and got some good pics tonight of some LST'n. I just dont feel like writing it up right now foreal, took a Xanax, smoked out of the bubbler for an hour by myself and then tried to work on a car... So yea, i am calling it an early night. Ill write it up and upload flicks tom. PEACE!
