Digital Greenhouse Ballasts

Sorry guys and girls but I have to write another bad review about these ballasts. Mine I figure had about 275 hours on it, first it blew out 2 bulbs then it blew itself up. It was the 600w version. In desperation I had to pull out my old 150hps, lol. Anyone have any reviews about HTG? Ive sent them an email yesterday. Might just try to get some money back and get me a Lumatek.

I was going to get the 600w digital hps from them soon, let me know how this goes!!

anyone else have problems with them, what kinda rep do they have?

Ive read mostly bad things about this ballast on here but bought one anyway because of the cost. Now im wishing i would have just bought a Lumatek in the first place.

Well a dude on here a few weeks back had a thread, he had the 400w digi greenhouse hps made a bad noise so he either called up or sent a email asking if he can upgrade to a coolstar and they upgraded him for free. I myself was looking into getting digital green houses 600w HPS but seems like they are nothing but problems

Never tried Lumatek - BUT have had great success with zero problems running Global Greenhouse:

I use 4 - 1000W wired into a HPH4 control box from Sentinel and they run flawless.

well i have a 400watt hps digital ballast. Cost my 150 bucks plus a few bucks for shipping. i had it for almost 3 months before the ballast crapped out on me. luckily i had a spare 150 watt hps. i got mine from www.hidhut.com . The good people there had me ship the bad one back and they sent a new one. took about a week and half to get the new one from the time i sent the old one, only because they are not open on the weekends. they have other fixtures as well. my budget barely allowed me to get the economy light like i got. On customer service alone, i would buy from them again.
