Did I germinate my Seeds Properly??

Hey guys
Last night at about 8:48 I put my seeds
on top of two damp paper towels , by the way I sterilized the water by boiling hot water and then waiting for it to cool then I placed my 6 seeds on the damp paper towels and I placed another damp paper towel on top of the seeds then I covered the container with Plastic Wrap and kept it over my water heater.

Did I do anything wrong? or did I forget a step?

BTW I checked on the seeds this morning
and there was condensation on the plastic wrap should I replace the plastic wrap?

Seeds in wet paper towels placed on a small plate covered with a bowl and placed on top of a warm source.

They need to be in the dark, wet, and warm.

no your doing fine, a method that i find works well is wetting a paper towel putting the seeds between the folds of it and placing it on a plate then covering that plate with another one and putting it somewhere warm i.e your heater, and let it sit until the emerging root is about the length of the nail on your pinky

i would say go for the advan nute micro 5-0-1
but thats just me
