OK, heres the story..
I put some greenhouse WW fem seeds and some white label NL fem seeds into folded wet paper towels and then into a deep tupperware container w/ a lid and then placed them into a dresser on top of a heating pad..I checked them about 12 hours later and 4/5 of each strain had cracked open enough that you could see the white taproot, but they had not came all the way out.. I felt the towels and they actually felt kind of cool so I turned the heating pad to high, moistened the paper towels a lil more and out them back.. I checked them when I woke up today and the towels were really warm..But not hot.. It wasnt hot to the touch , but really warm though.. I checked the seeds and they seemed to have stopped or maybe even gone into reverse.. I am concerned that they may have gotten too warm and died. Could this have likely happened? I could still see the white of the taproots through the small cracks so I went ahead and prepped jiffy 7 peat pellets and planted the ones that were cracked and placed them into there dome and into the dresser onto the heat pad on low..the dome is very humid lots of condensation.. I squeezed the excess water from the pellets and fluffed them back up before planting the seeds into them..Im just worried that I maye have "cooked" them with my heating pad.. Has anyone done this before and killed there seeds?
