My ladies are both turning yellow as they are almost finished, but i found these brown spots on one of them.

Those brown spots are usually signs of a Ca deficiency but your plant overall looks like it could have benefitted from more food.

theyve never had any food
just rain water and sifted, microwaved garden soil
Well you made it to the end that's more than most do. You might want to try a little food for it next time or at least possibly a Ca supplement.theyve never had any food

i assume it kills bugs larvae and eggs. however, i have a few springtails in the soil so i dont think i microwaved long enough
