Lighting, genetics and the over all environment are more important then which brand of nutrients you choose. I agree with hydrodan just get a well rounded nutrient that has all the essential macro and micro nutrients. I have used General Hydroponics with great results, I had some good plants grown with fox farms, I've used botanicare. My favorite was a company called Envy nutients, but they don't make the same product I used still, and I havn't tried their new dry feed line. Lots of people on here love Mega Crop(I havn't used it yet) and many people love Jacks'.
