good luck with that. I think that you should dry enough quickly for you to smoke right away, but not rush the whole harvest. I know the need to smoke, but there is no substitute for slow aged ganja...

i just ordered a flower and herb dryer from ebay. cost me $216. that dries your bud in 3 days and prerares it for the curing jars. food dehydrators make the smoke harsh. thats what i read about them and i have a food dehydrator but will not use it for drying.

its not a rush for me to smoke it i cure my personal plants the right way but i have a lot that needs to be cured quicker and was wondering if it would make it harsh like they said. thanks, anyone try it and it worked?

im not sure, but i think thc is good at higher temps then that. it may start decomposing at a faster rate at 90, but when you cook with it one of the methods is a double broiler method and it reaches 200 something (waters boiling point) and a vaporizers temps reach 300 somthing and thats right were thc burns, i think! let me know if im wrong

at roughly 90 to a 100 the thc will start to break down. Why would you buy a $200 drier when if thats what you wann use you can make one for under $40?? Just use screens and fans then jars

I was tired of waiting so long for my herbs to dry so I borrowed my moms Nesco American Harvest Food and Herb Dehydrator, and at first I thought it was harsh, but eventually the herb cured up just as good as the slow dried. I keep it at the lowest setting of 90 degrees Fahrenheit and is always dry and tasty within 24-32 hours. Smoke the herb slow and taste the flavor! Once I even pumped it up to 160 for a few hours and the herb still came out good and stony. I think it is just a myth the bud dryers created to bolster sales!:joint:

its prob the best way to get smokable weed the fastest. i personally only use a dehydrator when im out of weed and no one happens to have any around.

THC boils at 392 degrees F, not above, not below, 392. It will not become a vapor (what you need to get high) until it hit 392, and people saying the THC degrades at 80-100 degrees, that is correct but it has to be exposed to air, sunlight (UVA, UVB, UVC, infrared, etc... But if it is heated to say 100 degrees or so it will be fine, as long as its not too long because you have to worry about your bud rotting or becoming too brittle and all those tricromes that you grew the entire plant for will become too dry and snap off before they reach your bowl and you will not get as high as you could. Take can of your nugs!
