I cracked about 20 berry juice beans and only one germinated, and was deformed in many ways but why? Genetics? Or something I done wrong? Let me know what your thoughts are !

Could be seeds that were not aged enough or it could be that you fucked up. How would anyone know from your description?

How old where the sseed? I think they are good up to three years.

Where did you get them? sounds like you got screwed big time.
