Deficiency?

Hi guys,
Does this look like a deficiency to you?
Its week 2 under MarsHydro TS600
I fed only once with GH formula and some CalMag, ph 6.6 and EC 0.3

i am not sure about the soil quality, its not any known brand soil, just a soil for general plants with ph around 6.5 and small amount
of nutes in it! So i thought that maybe these discolored areas caused from Mag deficiency! It was a very small dose though!

As said that looks like variegation, it is just genetics, I have a plant on at the moment that did that, it soon grew out of it.

A general purpose soil mix is just fine, there is very little point in shelling out on an expensive "cannabis" brand. It will probably feed for a few weeks, so be careful. Rectifying a deficiency is easier than rectifying a toxicity. The plant will soon tell you when it needs some.

Be careful with the CalMag, unless you know the PPMs of your water, too much calcium can cause a lockout of other elements, such as Nitrogen. I need to give CalMag periodically throughout my grows, as my water has a PPM of 23 and checking with my local water company they described my calcium and magnesium content as "trace".

Thanks a lot for the answers guys, i hope that is variegation and i will not have any troubles!

I use RO water, mixed with a little of tap just to have 0.1EC, i measure with EC meter and a digital ph meter!
I fed twice already with GH nutes in 1/4 strength, and waiting to see results!
These discolorations i hope they don't give me wrong thoughts about deficiencies, and they will go soon!

Thanks again guys, i will keep updating with photos as my baby grows!

TBH unless you have a crazy high PPM I don't see the point in RO water. What is the point in using a load of energy to remove minerals, only to put them all back again.

In my region you can't even drink that water, i get 550ppm with NO3 and i am not sure for other elements!
So i use RO for drinking!
Its easier though to start nutrient solution from zero base and building it as you wish!
On my previous houses i was using tap water though, with better ppms, without any issues!
Btw RO is full of waste water, i am not so fan of it, but its one way road for me, with those ppms!

Wow 550 is crazy high. Mine is 330 and I still won’t drink or cook with it. I buy bottled for drinking and I use a filter for my dogs water bowl.
We have natural springs coming out the hill sides all around me and they are around 24ppm so really good water.
I don’t blame you on the RO with those readings.

Hi guys,
I clearly have a problem here and definitely need your advises!
The plant (Amnezia haze autoflower) is one month old now and i had problems with the soil, after some feedings i checked the runoff and the EC was very high,
actually the meter was reading the maximum that it could!
My feedings was 1/2 of the recommended so i realized that something was going wrong with the soil!
I decided to transplant it to a new pot with new soil!
Check the pics below, do you thing is there any chance for the plant, or is it dying?
I feed with ph 6,2 and EC around 1ms/cm
Temp 22oC and humidity 45%

Magnesium deficiency
It looks like calcium deficiency more, but its not only this!
After transplanting i was still taking crazy numbers of EC in the runoff water, like 3.45ms/cm
So i decided to flush, i flushed her 2 days ago and i am waiting for recovery
I think she looks a bit more happy!

Sorry but I don’t see a single spot resembling calcium deficiency. Maybe it’s my glasses.
Check the previous photos those brown tips on some leaves, doesnt look like cal deficiency? I am not insist, but as i saw some pics from internet, it seems like calcium!

I’m referring to the last pictures which still show magnesium deficiency. No spotting in those photos.

If you scroll up to see my previous posts you will see a picture with these brown spots!
Before flushing i had 3.45ms/cm to the runoff water, i am not sure if i want to feed again soon!!
Any suggestions?
