Hello,

Yesterday I changed the water in my aeroponic DWC this morning I went and my little poor sweettooth looked as if it were dieing completely dropped over and then made a speedy recovery however the leaves are a wilted brown any suggestions??

#2, I have plants in the aeroponic aswell as dixie cups, the ones in the aeroponic system dont seem to be growing as fast as the others and ive heard there suppose to grow quite alot quicker, it seems the leafs are bigger and thicker but its growing nodes at a slower rate, any suggestions?

hey, have had similar problems in the past. after you changed your water the ph or nutrient level was probably very different from the water you took out. this causes a shock to the plant. try reading the ph right before you chnage the water, then adjust the new ph gradually over 24 hours, same with the nutes. for example, if your tap water is 7.2 and you keep your reservoir at 5.8, which gradually climbs to 6.5 or something over the course of a reservoir cycle, dont adjust the new water right down to 5.8, take it to 6.5 then lower later. hope this helps, your plants should recover quickly.

this is the wrong area to post this, but the leaves died out/crumbled from 2 things..1. They werent getting any vascular movement..kinda like when you peel from a sunburn. and 2. Lack of vascular movement caused a drying out, possible due to heat and or air movement over the baby leaves...same thing happend to me last week...shit I just saw the original post date of this thread...
