Decent bud trimmers

So I’m wondering if anyone uses a bud trimmer that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg and produces decent results?

Cheers!
I’ve used one of the bowl trimmers with the twist type handle and it works but it does beat them up a little so I won’t use it in my indoor stuff just my outdoor.
If your growing a lot then it can be a huge time saver but you will loose some tric’s in the process

Makes sense! I’m tempted to give it a try but the decent hand ones cost about £150? Doesn’t seem like a product you can return for a refund lol

I was lucky and a buddy gave me one so when I do a bunch of outdoor I use it for that cuz I get sick of trimming quick. I sometime recruit my sons and wife as trimmers but they aren’t smokers so they don’t treat it the same as I would so I normally do all the trimming

I use this one and I like it a lot!

The buds don't look too bad.

I followed LG and bought the same trimmer (generic) and it works great. I'm not hand trimming again!

I hate trimming so much. I did find that the sap off soap works good for cleaning the glue off your hands but there is an even better soap called cherry bomb by ZEP and works amazing and covers the smell but they are petrol based cleaners
I wear gloves. I also found, on the occasions I haven't worn gloves, that a good rub of my hands with vegetable oil then soap worked great, good morning.

I have a pair of electric trimmers I bought off Amazon years ago that work great for bigger buds. Can do a pound in less than 20 mins. Popcorn buds and small nugs take some more time tho. I mop the floor and just go to town on branches, collect leaves for edi's

Electric trimmer. You have peaked my interest for sure.lol. Do you remember what brand they are?

Got this one for $60 on Amazon. Like previously said. I feel it does beat the buds up a bit more then hand trimming would. Also it'll throw any popcorn buds right into the trim. Some people might like that while others may not. All in all it makes trimming a fast breeze and end product still looks okay.
Before and after 5 seconds of turning. I gave these buds another few turns in opposite direction after pic20230416_123839.jpg20230416_124112.jpg

I recently purchased a Twister BatchOne Go! I usually spend 30-40 hrs hand trimming (wet) for a dispensary-grade look. I was done in less than 30 mins (dry) with the BatchOne and it's 90% of the quality of a hand-trimmed bud. After this next round, it will have paid for itself!

Wow, those look nice. Keep the nugs clean w/o knocking off trichs, yeah?
cool vids of it in action. spendy tho.
Yea, you can get in between bugs to get a manicured look. Any bit of fox tailing might get cut off if not careful. I haven't used these in some time, ever since I started my breeding venture with tiny plants. Now I'm back on Scrogs and have these on stand by. Worth the investment imo, if you don't like traditional hand trimming.
