Decarboxylating before making butter...do you need to?

So, here's a question: If you are planning on baking with budder or coconut cannabis oil, do you really need to decarboxylate before hand? I mean, your baked products, like brownies or cookies, are exposed to the temperatures required for baking, is there any reason to decarboxylate before baking?

I mean, if you're baking cookies at 350 degrees, do you need to heat up the cannabis before heating it up again? If you make budder, and then use it in a recipe, does it matter if it's already been decarboxylated if you're baking it again?

you pretty much cant make budder w/o decarb.

Its the only way to get the THC infused into the butter instead of the plant matter. Its always heat the fat+thc together a while, whatever you use.

As far as the oven baking prior to making budder... i skip that, I just go crock pot and call it a day, worked fine. Paint screen bag to filter out the plant bits, worked great. Made a batch of krispy treats, solid body buzz...

As far as double cooking, just make sure the budder cooking stage stays @ low temps, you really want a simmer, not a boil. Thats important anyhow with budder, even if not baking later.

No worries, all else fails, eat it n find out, share the results! :)
