Decarbing for health.

I'm completely new to this. And I know that for specific health issues you need certain types. I have someone who has lots of pain, on lots of medicine, and has extremely high anxiety. They tried cbd with no help. I think he doesn't need cbd, and so I'm gonna give it a go at edibles like gummies and maybe sugars. I have a hybrid that's 55% indica and 45% saliva. For a first time try I only have .5 Oz. And no fancy equipment. It's been 200 ish and 27 minutes. It crumbles very nicely but when it cools it feels somewhat moist. Or not quite as dry. How do you know if you have adequately decarbed?

I've been decarbing for a few years. 225-240 for 35 minutes... 40 minutes. Works great. Hard to trust it wo equipment but every time I get really nice butter from this method. (The butter comes after the decarb). Butter in crock pot on low for 3 hours... mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!! Don't forget to put the decarb'd cannabis in the crock pot :)

Trying to figure out a new way to decarb, makes house smell to much
Anyone have some suggestions?!

Current method is in the oven :peace:
They make Silicon boxes like the one that goes with the Magical Butter Machine

It seals and limits the smell, not smell proof
Cook something on the stovetop and that will cover the smell
If you have the money a unit like the Ardent FX can limit the odor

Set it in a little used room with the window open and exhaust fan if handy
