Death from Ingestion?

*sigh*... Sorry guys.. I KNOW I've posted this before but for the god damn death of me I can't find where it was...


I KNOW... that no one has ever died from SMOKING too much pot... But is it possible for someone to overdose on pot through ingesting it through something like brownies?

If I remember correctly.. the answer was no... but there was a scientific reason behind it and I wanna remember what it is!!

watch totally baked: a pot-u-mentary. in the movie, it said you'd have to eat 2000lbs of pot in a very short period of time before it became toxic, thats like, a quarter of a million pot brownies. i have no idea if thats actually true lol. but my guess is that its probably not too far off the mark.

eating too much weed could make you sick in the sense that you get too high or it might just make you sick to your stomach, but no. its not going to cause any sort of overdose situation.

Something tells me I'd have a sugar overdose before I died from too much weed.. haha =p. Thankyou very much for the info

Now, if those brownies were very dry you could choke to death on them. And don't count on your pot brownie eating buddies to help with the hiemlich manuever cause while you're choking to death they're going to be laughing their asses off and pointing at you.

haha i know some kid who a couple years back overdosed on brownies and had to go to the hospital for a stomach pump.

lol needless to say he will never live that down.

what happened to him? was he just really sick? or really passed out? they had to pump his stomach? thats so crazy dude...how come he couldnt just sleep it off? sorry for the questions lol. i've just never heard of that happening before! i'd love some more details hehe thanks

Haha I think he passed out, and then his parents were worried about his "odd" behavior after lolol.

He had 6 or 7 club brownies cuz he didnt realize it takes so long to kick in. they're potent too, cuz 2 of those would shred me up as a veteran smoker.

die? no, not that i know of, like it was said before, you'd have to ingest a huge amount. this makes me wonder what thcs ld50 rate is. im gonna check wiki

anyone want to convert the ld 50 rates of rats into a human body weight? im lazy and bad at math.

You would be passed out pissing yourself before you could even scratch the surface of eating enough to die from overdose.

when i was younger i put 7grams of low-grade hash into a brownie/cake mix i didnt make butter just crumbled the hash straight into the mix i then ate all 4 of the brownies/cake at once within an hr or so i was very sick and just kept being sick for ages i really thought i was gonna spew up my liver or sumfin it was harsh! then after convincing myself i was dieing cause no way you should be spewing for like 2hrs constant i just passed out n didnt wake up for bout 16hrs,

wasnt fun but i certainly aint dead lol
