dealing with regular (non fem) seeds

Im thinking of ordering something from Elite or Subcool but Im not sure exactly how to make the most out of non-fem seeds. My biggest problem I think is space because I am a "closet grower" and I only have a limited amount of space (lots of height) Im not sure if I could fit a little grow tent for the mother in there.

I feel that if I order some awesome genetics and I dont get a mother plant then its just a waste(sort of) dealing with all the hassles of sexing and having more plants in there for veg instead of just 4 feminized seeds being planted I have to care for 10 plants or so for 6 weeks at least before I 12/12 and sex them.
any suggestions?

The only way to grow good meds is with patience, I don't see any hasles with growing, even if i do get males, its very relaxing and fun to grow. Looks like your getting into the wrong hobby.

yeah I def dont mean that IM too lazy or impatient to sex the plants. I mean I dont want to order these good genetics do all the work and then have to get moe seeds. Im just looking for any suggestions on getting a mother plant in the same closet, or anything to do differently than if I had fem seeds.

for example my 1st grow was fem seeds, I went from a peat pot into the final large 2.5 gallon pot so they have been in that pot for the entire time pretty much. If I do order reg seeds Ill have to probably germ all 8-10 I get to get a decent amount of females. Since its more plants Im planning on keeping them in smaller pots until they show their sex, Im not sure if thats going to gimme shitty roots for flowering time and roots are really important obviously.

Patience is important, but not as important as genetics. You can patiently polish a turd, but when you're done, it's still shit.
