Hey what's up RIU!!! Been a longtime lurker and have learned so much from the site and actually have a grow going on that is barely recovering from all the stress I put it through in early life... I made every mistake you could make with those poor plants. Shoulda started a journal haha
So they're currently in the bloom room and I'm starting fresh with a MK clone I picked up on Sunday, the 10th that was already rooted in rockwool. I popped it in a 3.5 gallon dwc bucket with 2 gallons of res 2.5ml/5ml of GH micro/bloom per gallon. Kind of worried about burning her at first since I've had a shit load of nute burn with the first grow but she took well and just this morning noticed roots in the water.
On 11/8 I planted 5 seeds in party cups with Roots Organic and 1 sprouted on 11/12 and 2 more on the 13th. 2 others didn't pop so I planted two more beans on the 13th. I plan on keeping them in the party cups until they show sex then transplanting to DWC. I only wanna veg for a couple of weeks so I'm hoping they wont outgrow the party cups before they show sex.
As far as equipment I have a 3wx2dx5h tent and a 2ft 4 bulb HO T5 just to veg under with 3 6500K bulbs and 1 2700K bulb. I have another tent same size with 2 180watt (109 actual) UFO LED's and another 2ft T5 with 3 2700K bulbs and 1 6500K bulb I'm gonna use to flower.
So just to summarize:
Princess (MK) 5 days old since transplant
#1 (anybody wanna name em?) sprouted on 11/15
#2 and #3 sprouted on 11/13
#4 and #5 planted on 11/13
So I only named the clone cause she looked like shit when I picked her up and I just tried to assure her that she'd be treated like a princess as soon as we got home so the name stuck.
Any and all input and advice is encouraged and appreciated and hopefully this grow will go much smoother than the first. I'll be posting updates at least once a week but probably much more than that.
