I recently grew Barney's Blue Cheese, which flowers 8-10 weeks, and harvested after 8.5 weeks. I find the high to be very enjoyable-- motivational and social-- not at all dopic. Of course, I'm a light weight, and only vape a hit or two in the evening. It also tastes great! This was the first indica I have grown (usually go for sativa doms), but I experience less 'couch lock' with it than G13-Haze.
Some feel the yeild to be so-so, but I just pulled 4.5 oz off a 250w, which is fine by me. It's a tough plant that clones easily. Some complain that the plants can go hermie, but I have had no problems with it.
In general, you can cut down on the heaviness of the high by harvesting on the early side.
