I'm hoping to chop the top larger buds in a week and let the lower buds go a little longer. Trichomes seem mostly cloudy with some amber. A friend who has been growing this strain for years says 8 to 9 weeks. pistils have almost all turned brown. Let me know what you think ! This is my first grow so i would like to not screw it up .

It is always better to error on the long side. Every time I have taken them on the excessive side, the high is stronger and more pleasant. I took this gurl five weeks after this pic and it was one of my favs for a while. Nice sativa buzz. 12.5 weeks flower.

Here is some advice bud, come back in 2 to 3 weeks to ask again about chopping. You will only cheat yourself doing anything now. I would say your plants look pretty good so just keep doing what you are doing. Hopefully you are not flushing and if you are start feeding again now. The last couple weeks is when the buds bulk up and ripen. Chopping early will give you grassy tasting fluffy pot. Time to give them some food and practice the art of LIFTA for a while.
