Day 23 of flower, tops yellowing?

Hey guys. I started noticing the leaves at the top started to look yellow, but I’m not sure if it’s because the tops are too close to the light. The buds themselves are doing great, but the leaves are a bit light to me? Maybe I can get some insight?

You could be onto something with the light being too close because of the leaves pointing up that way. I’ve heard both that it’s good and that it’s bad when they point up so idk. did you lower your light recently or turn up the watts? Usually sugar leaves get yellow at the very end

My HPS is at its max position in the tent. Can’t hang it any higher. It’s a 600w about 12 inches from the tops. I’m not sure what I can do at this point

If your 600hps is 12" it is causing your problem. I have the same thing happen when my plants stretch to the light. I had to buy a taller tent this go because of stretch.
 
Well I don’t want to super crop my plant because she’s already day 23/24 of 12/12 and I don’t want to decrease yields. I def can’t dig holes in my floor I guess my only option is to just cut her down and start again lol. I’ll just see what happens. I’m sure she’ll be fine, just leaves look a bit pale on the tops but lower down looks great!

Can you zip tie the light to the pole? My light is zipped to the pole. No hooks no nothing. Just 4 zips. Should give a few more inches.

They also sell 4x4x80+ tents.

I have a 2x4x84.

You can 100% find a taller tent. Spend 130$ or risk burning up the top buds.

Well this is a test run anyways lol I’m broke right now so can’t afford it. I’ll try to zip tie it and see what happens, scared they’ll snap when I’m not home and burn my house down lol

I have 0 sharp edges in my tent. But I mean, realistically, will 3-4 inches of height increase make much of a difference? Because if it won’t, I’d rather leave it wear it is because my plant is huge and it’s hard to work around it right now
