Day 16 of GG AUTO ! is it stunted ? Help needed ! Will post complete diary !

* **Medium - Coco + perlite + vermiculite
* **Lights - 6 set of MH light 400watt each
* **Environment details - Temp -25 C
Humidity - 48%
* **Strain - Gorilla Glue Auto from Linda seeds
* **Age - 16 days old
* **Pot Size - 5 gallon fabric pots
* **Nutrient line and schedule - Micro,Grow,Bloom (local) + CalMag (Local)
* **Watering volume - 100ml surrounding the plant only !

In total i have 27 pots with GG Auto and 3 DWC buckets with GG Auto.

* **Area - 120sq ft
* ** Ventilation - Air Conditioner 1.5Ton
* ** Total Lights - 6 Set of MH/HPS 400 watt each
* ** Lamp to plant distance - 60cms

The runoff of each plant was coming around 3000-4000ppm and very high EC too around 6000-8000 us/cm

There are 4 Plants under each light !

I am new to forums and learning to use it along with growing cannabis !

You don't just water a little bit aroud the plants, you water until the whole pot is saturated and some runs out. That's why nutes are building up to toxic levels. Also you don't use those cloth bags because water will run out through the sides, they will make the room humid and they will dry out too fast. Those are just a gimmick, and not worth the downsides. Maybe they would be okay outdoors but indoors nothing but trouble. Fortunately they haven't actually grown much roots yet so you still have time to switch to plastic pots or buckets. Also coco is trouble to work with, when it dries it shrinks right up. You would actually be better off just using a mixture of perlite and vermiculite without the coco. It's your grow so you can use the bags and the coco if you want but you seriously will have a lot of trouble for no good reason. If the bags make extra growth it will be minimal. Actually you can use plastic bags if you don't want to get a bunch of pots, I've done that before, just poke some drainage holes in the bottom.

I put the coco peat blocks in a drum and added CalMag in it and soaked the block in it for 30 mins.
The ph of that water was 6.5 !

The calmag is the problem i feel because now when i used it to test water..it is heavily increasing the ec and ppm of water...around 2ml increases the ppm to 200+ and ec 0.2+
 
Coco has to be rinsed thoroughly to remove the "dust" so you end up with the useful fibers. Your 3,000-4,000 ppm is the result of "dust" in the runoff, not a magical increase in nutrients. Autos don't like to be disturbed while they are building their root system so I doubt there's much you can do for this grow. Just ignore the runoff (that's true even for rinsed coco) and focus on the things you can control for this grow.
60cm is too close to the seedlings
I can't tell if the light intensity or nute burn is responsible for the yellowing.

Thank you for your help ! will increase the height of light to 75 cms. And will update the diary !
 
Actually come to think of it you could just put the cloth bags inside plastic bags instead of changing from one to the other, like small white garbage bags, holes in the bottom.

Nothing wrong with fabric pots sir. They are not a gimmick and work fine.

In the future, after hydrating the coco blocks in the drum dump the coco into a large fabric pot (I use a 30G or 60G but you can use whatever size needed depending on how many blocks you are hydrating).

Run a hose for several minutes through the coco and you will see the runoff change from brown to clear.

Then you can go ahead and water with some Cal-Mag to “charge” the coco.
