Darker Green Leaves?

Hi there, now I know that darker green means they are getting a bit too much nutrients. My question is do I want to just use pure PH water on next watering, and will they turn lighter (healthier) green? Or do I just look to new growth?

As well, what do you guys think of one water with nutes then next watering just water? I've always watered using nutrients.

I'm using an A&B formula with additves like vitamin and root enhancers.

It just means there is an abundance of N in the soil but lots of nitrogen is a good thing as long as its not burning the plants. Just give them pure water once or twice they should be fine. I always feed every other watering and when I use plain water I let them get real dry and flush them good each time.

have any pix op?? i've never heard of too green when it comes to cannabis plants..

usually when plants get too much nitrogen, they get the claw look to the leaves.. very easy to spot, so as long as they're not clawing, i wouldn't think that they're getting too much nitrogen..

and yes, you're correct in thinking that newer growth gets affected quicker by any / all changes made to the plants..

Thanks guys, much love. It is too much N, I now know what to spot in the future. This is only my 2nd grow and still learning a ton. They aren't burnt, something I can correct easily, They've been in flowering for about 10 days now so I have switched to a flowering nutirent formula. I'll give them a good flush next watering and take it from there.

But yes, when the leaves are slighter darker green it means they are getting just a bit too much nutes.

Happy growing :)

try some dyna gro , or tiger bloom with higher phosphorous , you might see some light green new growth. I am basically using fish fertilizer regular dose then water the next day then dyna gro. back and forth

If the leaf stem turns purple you should add some more phosphurous to it.
NO!
When that happens, first you need to figure out if it's strain related, temp related, maybe a lockout.
DO NOT just go throwing nutes at the plant.

You might want to continue with your veg nutes for another week or two instead of changing right away.
She is going to gobble up the N when you flip light cycles.

If you are doing drain to waste mix your nutes at half strength. Periodic flushing whith ph water never hurts. I've found that by reducing nutrient strength I can flush less frequently.
