damn gnats! How much peroxide?

I am a total newbie to this, and i have obtained these little shits! I know why (Miracle grow soil, and too much water) My question is: How much of the 3% peroxide do i use? I read other threads that said 80% water and 20% h2o2. But is that for gardener peroxide (35%) or just regular peroxide. Also i have bought some neem 3 n 1 (insecticide, fungicide, and miticide) as i have found a damn shroom growing in one of my plants. I immediatly removed it with care not to spread any of its spores. Also i have sand for after i treat this gnat problem. Anyways im gonna roll one up while i wait on a response, Thanx for any help.

Had the same problem bro, get some play sand and put a 1" layer on the top of your soil, wait till almost dry and water with 20% regular hydrogen peroxide and 80%distilled water you should be good to go, not to sure about the gardners peroxide though

so wait til it dries out, but go ahead and use the neem and playsand? or just the sand, btw did u have a shroom pop up ever? I didnt take a pic of it, i was just in a hurry to get rid of the damn FOREIGN object. Thanks for you fast reply tho, first reply I have had, but i havent posted much, trying to do all my homework before i bother anyone.

I just returned to my room and found another "shroom" growing. In the same pot. should I just remove this from my room or what? I do admit that this plant hasn't had the best light. (low lite as seedling, runt) I don't want this thing contaminating my other pots. Any ideas? I have pics also..
And this is the yellowing I am experiencing, but after seeing ALOT of other great plants with a few leaves, i havent done anything drastic to try and correct this. Havent fed any nutes, just recently overwaterd in attempt to flush, lights are full spectrum, just a little red, and alot of blue on a 18/6, Also once i messed up with foiler watering under 7 more hours of light to go. Any ideas? well hang on im having problems with pics...

A MUSHROOM?? Ive never seen this before...very strange?

I've gotten a shroom before in one of my pots and pulled it out and everything was fine. Just make sure you get the roots or it will keep coming back

I got the shroom out, root and all. I used a lite mist of neem on the affected plant, then covered all my plants with around 1" of sand, and i put up two fly sticky strips. Now i'm waiting for soil to dry up, and il use some peroxide in with my next watering. Does all this sound good? Right action taken? Thanks guys (and gals) lol.

and by the way get a fan on that little runt to get her stem to thicken up so she can support herself. What lights are you using, they need to be moved MUCH closer

right now i am using 4 (2 bulb) 4' flourescent (4 bulbs daylight, 2 bulbs full spectrum, 2 bulbs 2700k) and 6 2' florescent tubes wide spectrum. all together right around 320 watts, yes that plant has been too far away i agree, started that way from seedling, i started in a jiffy pot container, and had to go out of town for a week, by the time i got back they were all stretched to top and growing sideways in container. I took my best twelve (some bag kind bud) and FUCKD up and planted 6 in one rubbermaid tote, 2 totes. I found some mites on that little runt and i just transplanted outdoors, i dont want them on rest of my room. The root system was bigger than i expected, now i fear I have major problems with other plants.
I have two fans blowing on plants also with an exhaust fan sittin on top of my lites blowing outside thru duct. the runt just never got any flow.

Also here r pics of the ones i messed up and put in one big container. Does anyone know if roots could be entangled yet? Also i thought the stems were looking pretty good considering as a seedling they were long and lanky. I am going as soon as my wife gets home to get more pots and transplant. This was my first real big newbie mistake, as I didnt see the grow faq till it was too late.

You have the right idea, you should have it under control in no time...

OK guys, i bought more soil and pots, when i went to transplant, the root systems was HUGE. So some of the roots ripped a little, i tried as best i could to save every last inch of the root ball intact, but i still had some rip, DID I JUST KILL MY PLANTS?!!
I am so worried about it, i even already ordered a 250 watt hps ventable light. CAN ANYONE GIVE ME SOME ADVICE ON THIS ISSUE? I posted here because i started this thread, and my pics are here of before trans[plant and how close they all were.

I made my first big newbie mistake, and i wont ever do that shit again! Please anyone help me out here?
Also these plants are 4 and half weeks old, stil veggin.

They will be fine. Just make sure if you watered, let them fully dry out and those roots will continue to grow and search for water.

Hey Wheelerman - did the sand & peroxide work for the gnats? I'm having a hell of a time with them.

wel i think i mite have caught them early, but i did the peroxide, then sanded it. let it dry out completely, but then i transplanted them to bigger pots, no gnats or larva was present. The main culprit plant that i think had the infestation wasnt gettin good airflow, and soil was staying too moist. I saw some tiny white things that looked like spiders on it, then i immediatly moved it outside. when i trasplanted it, it had a few gnats in the soil, i neemed it and planted it in ground, dont know if its gonna make it, but i wasnt onna let the smallest runt mess up my whole crop

You can get rid of the gnat larva in your soil by placing slices of potato on top of your soil. These baby pests can't resist. Just lift the tater after a while and, assuming you have them, you'll see them on the surface of the potato slice that has been on your soil. Toss it in the trash (flush it?) replace w/fresh slice until there are no other takers (your slices come up clean)
Problem solved.
Allowing your soil to dry out between waterings will help you avoid these soil fungus gnats.
