Dairy Doo?

So I've had fantastic luck with Dairy Doo 201, and I have had some luck with Dairy Doo 301 as well. But I'm curious about Dairy Doo Tree and Shrub Mix. I'm tired of mixing my mix with sand, as the sand here is rocky, and some moron buried a thin layer of particle board over it all that needs to be picked out, and I'd rather just use some that doesn't need to be mixed with anything else. Has anyone here tried using straight Dairy Doo tree and shrub mix? A worker at a nursery told me plants can be planted straight into it as it's made for greenhouse beds, but I'm worried about the PH being off. Any input would be appreciated.
