Cuttings??????

Hi, ive been experimenting with cuttings for a while now and have succeded "in a way".
Say i start off wth 20. i might get 4 or 5 rooters in all,some times a few more.The thing is some might root in a week and some take up to a month. Just when i think they are absalutely,definataly dead then the next morning...roots?
I only use a see through bread bin with a small radiator underneath and one of those 250 watt bulbs that glow blue and look like a massive energy saving bulbs.
When ive seen other people do it they get 15 or more come through all at the same time.My way messes the whole timing up.
Any suggestions?

dont use rooting homone just a little dip in water as soon as you cut, then put in to rockwool place in the propagator have a 60w fluorescent about 3 to 4" away from top of the lid mist with tap water 3 times a day. 7 days later nice roots 100% success rate also light on timer 18/6
that 250w light you got might be a bit 2 stong for them if your leaves are down or lose colour ie start to go yellow its from the light being 2 intense or 2 close.
