well i told myself i would draw the line at cutting hole in the ceiling so here i am trying to devise the best way to cut a hole...
i recently moved, before i could just vent out a window now im in a closet above is a unfinished attic, temps around around 86 i would like it a little bit more manageable i feel like if i added a few more cfls it would be in the 90s right now im just venting under the door which works but i don't imagine it lets much fresh air in
closet is 6x4 although im only using half for a few girls i have 6" inline 240cfm fan and 5' of duct
so what would be the easiest way to do this ?
my only concerns are...
how big does the hole have to be im only renting so i dont want a 4ft gaping hole i'll have to spackle when i leave within reason, what would be the minimum size hole i can cut and still have effective air outtake?
furthermore would i be able to cut a sorta horizontal vent shaped hole close to the wall so i wont have to repaint as you wont even notice it when spackled over seeing how its kind of behind your head if you reach in the closet
seeing how its unfinished when its summertime and 500 degrees outside is that gonna effect my temps if i cut thru the insulation i wouldn't think so seeing how the air movement will cool it down if im wrong by all means tell me i am
