Crystals on soil

Crystals on top of soil I don't know if it's salt build up but looks like it
usIng fox farm nutes have only fed twce once wit micro n other veg only water when soil is dry n feed every other watering
using soiless mix with perlite
rh 50s and 60s

plus I'd appreciate it I anybody would sub to my journal n add me appreciate comments and how do you add rep or whatever that is I have helped others tired of being stranger lmao

No but it's like a trail of Salt like 4 inches long quarter inch wide looks like how the sand does on the beach when the tide goes low feel me? Lol

i kn ow some nuts do that but i don't use ff sorry

i would scrape out the misterious solution. then see if it reappears, if it does,. i suggest you flush out your soil, if it reappears.

I don't condone in stupid things thought this site was for mature ppl that's all have to say on that

It is a not neccesarily a salt BUILD up but if you are using liquid ferts. sometimes the salts from the ferts will not penetrate the top layer of the soil (it isn't to common but it does happen sometimes) it really isnt a big deal yet. But it can if you do not flush your soil. It will cause a salt build up. This COULD happen because your soil does not have enough drainage but that isn't always the case.

I would reccomend flushing it next water and then adding your ferts. If you dissolve the ferts in your water that you water with then I would flush with "non-ferted" water and then water with the "fert water" immediatly after that.
