CROPPING TOMORROW NEED HELP PLEASE, ie some powdery mildew

Hey guys im cropping tomorrow , 5 days into the 8th week - the plants show all the signs that they are ready, purple kush, one light, first grow.

I heard somewhere i should leave it dark 24 hours before harvest, let me know if this is true.

My other issue is powdery mildew, i noticed it seven weeks in, contained it with Potassiaum Bicarbonate, but the plants still show some signs of it on the lower nugs. I heard cropping early is good when powdery mildew is an issue, and the only day i have is tomorrow or i have to wait 5 days and do it then, so i think tomorrow is the best choice. Lemme know what you guys think and any harvest / drying pointers i might need!!

someone help me out i need to know what to do!! i can wait a bit longer to crop if its not good to crop with slight mildew, i havent checked the trichomes with magnification but the buds seem very very mature all hairs are brown-red and trichomes almost visibly milky with the naked eye
